Awarded to individuals (and/or organizations) who have made outstanding contributions to Colorado Council during the year for which the award is made. Each year the President of Council would be honored with such an award in addition to other eligible candidates.

Lifetime Achievement Award
Awarded to retirees of the admissions/counseling profession who have made on-going outstanding contributions to the Colorado Council. Recipients must have received a Hall of Fame Award at some time in their involvement with the Council in order to be considered for this award.

Cynthia E. Gayles Award
The Cynthia Gayles Award is given for outstanding service in the field of college admissions. The recipient must have demonstrated (1) community service in helping students with the admission and financial aid processes and/or promoting access to higher education at Colorado colleges, or (2) an outstanding commitment through active service, leadership and/or involvement in organizations which promote higher education.
Recipients receive a $1,000 stipend for professional development opportunities or community service endeavors, and their name on a plaque, which will be displayed in the admissions office at the University of Colorado Denver or in the admissions conference room named in Cynthia's honor at the University of Colorado at Boulder. The Cynthia E. Gayles Award was established in 2007.
