We cordially invite your middle school, high school, and college Latina students to the Eighteenth Annual LaTEENa Conference and Advanced Leadership Symposium, which we will host on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
The mission of this event is to sponsor and promote programs dedicated to the inclusion of Latina students in pursuit of higher education, professional career growth, and cultural leadership development. We will be at Regis University’s campus (Claver Hall), located off Federal Blvd and 50th Avenue in Denver, Colorado 80221. The cost of the event is $15. This is an all-day event, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
Latina students will experience interactive workshops and presentations that may include the following topics: Leadership & Personal Development, Financial Literacy, Artistic Expression, and Healthy Lifestyle Choices, along with critical skills necessary for graduation and college preparation, all facilitated by successful Colorado Latina professionals.
We ask that you identify a key contact/staff member who will help your students register for the LaTEENa Conference and/or the Advanced Leadership Symposium.
We look forward to having your student(s) participate in this meaningful learning experience and encourage your staff to attend. We also encourage parents/guardians to attend. We all share a common goal with you: the educational success of our Latina students.
