I would like to formally announce that Forward Steps is currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year!
Priority deadline is May 31st, 2020 (rolling applications accepted and considered on a case-by-case basis).
Forward Steps supports Colorado’s current and former foster youth as they pursue a post-secondary education through financial, social, and life-skills support. Forward Steps scholars receive:
• Up to $6,000 in financial assistance per school year (part-time applicants accepted on a limited basis)
• One-on-one mentoring
• Academic and career coaching
• Opportunities for personal and professional development
• Access to tutoring, and
• Community support
Any interested applicants must be currently enrolled or will be enrolled, in an associate, bachelor, trade, or certificate program from a public educational institution listed on our application, be less than 26 years of age and demonstrate unmet financial need.
Attached is Professionals Flyer that can provide you with additional information on our program, as well as the Forward Steps Student Flyer can be sent on to any youth who may be interested in applying.
