Dear Potential Legislative Liaison,
The CSCA and CCHS/CR would greatly appreciate your providing us with responses to the below RFP (Request for Proposal) form for legislative liaison services. As perhaps you know, we have both been lucky to have had the remarkable services of (now Senator) Pat Stedman in recent years. It is our hope to maintain the level of access and participation in policy matters that we have enjoyed, and we are sending this request to firms who may be uniquely positioned to serve our needs.
We'd appreciate your getting back to us no later than October 30, 2009, as we wish to address this matter at our next meeting.
Please know that both CSCA and CCHS/CR are non-profit associations with limited resources. We realize that over the years Pat Steadman was providing us with services far in excess of the cash value of the contract. We hope that you will give our alliance similarly generous consideration: please feel free to let us know the commercial "rate" for your services, when you are addressing the cost item.
