Counselor workshops, held at college and universities across Colorado each fall are a great opportunity for high school counselors and admissions representatives from colleges and universities to come together in the spirit of sharing knowledge and to recharge professional relationships. Check us out this year for an updated agenda, which includes short, informative and better structured updates from all CCHS/CR member colleges and universities, member organizations, topical breakout sessions, and additional opportunities to connect with colleagues.  Check out our 2018 schedule and host sites below!  Registration is now open!

*After reviewing the surveys from last year, there are two common themes and requests:  1.  Please include information about Financial Aid and Scholarships in each update.  2.  Do not read from the handbook or include information in your update which is already included in the handbook.

As a result, we are asking Colleges & Universities to address four specific items in your 3 minute update.  Remember, this update is to supplement the info in the handbook, not duplicate it.

  1. Any noteworthy changes to your admissions policies?  (Deadline Changes, Added or Removed EA/ED?  Test Score Deadlines, etc.)
  2. Do you have any unique visitation or student experience programs?  (Aside from Open House events… Engineering Camps, Culinary Camps, Coding Camps, etc.)
  3. Explain your Scholarship and Financial Aid Process. (Any new scholarships to share, applications, timelines, etc.)
  4. What ONE THING (that we don’t already know) makes your university unique or differentiates you for prospective students?
**Breakout session topics and descriptions coming soon!
