Joining the Council
Why Join the Council?
Depending on who you are, there are different advantages to joining Colorado Council. The overriding reasons are:
- that Colorado high school counselors, associate members, and the colleges/universities collaborate and coordinate major college preparation and transition activities so as to provide the greatest impact with the least duplication throughout the state, and
- that professional development opportunities are available throughout the year.
The Colorado Council has become a model not-for-profit organization for many other states throughout the country who are looking for a collaborative and efficient way to get college admissions and financial aid information to families and students while supporting the professional development needs of its members.
