Colorado Council and its member institutions co-sponsor and participate in college fairs throughout the state each year.
The annual Spring Denver College Fair is an event that is co-sponsored by the Colorado Council on High School/College Relations (CCHS/CR) and the Rocky Mountain Association for College and Admission Counseling (RMACAC). Check the RMACAC site frequently for information on next year's fair.
Each spring at the University of Denver, RMACAC and CCHS/CR work together to bring 180 colleges and universities from across the nation to the attention of the area's high school juniors and seniors. In addition to the individual table representation of each college or university, there will be two presentations offered that will help families better understand how to finance a college education: one on the financial aid process, and one on seeking out scholarships.
There is no charge for students and families to attend the fair, but there are participation fees for colleges and universities.
Scheduled yearly from September through November, these free programs attract thousands of students and parents who are eager to learn about college curricula, admission requirements, financial aid, and more. The College Day-Night Programs page features a comprehensive calendar for visiting students and their families, and includes detailed information on how to get involved if you are already a Council member institution or proprietary school.
